If you go abroad and don’t know how to communicate in the foreign
language, then this translator can prove more than handy for you.
Pune-based software firm Ixtentia Information Technology has developed a
Windows based app, Translator which translates spoken or typed text in
54 languages including Hindi and Urdu.
Officials of the company have claimed that the app at present is
ranked second in India and US in the language category. The app not only
gives an option to user to translate the text in another language but
also provides additional facility to translate spoken words in other
language.
Umeed Kothavala, CEO, Extentia Information Technology told DNA,
“Unlike other translator apps, our app has a multiple translation
engine which provides best available translations to the users. Keeping
Indian users in mind, we have included Hindi and Urdu apart from 52
other languages for translation. Hence, users who are comfortable in
conversing in Hindi or Urdu, will be able to translate various texts or
spoken words of other languages in Hindi or Urdu.’’
Kothavala
said, “Those who travel abroad face problems in communication. However,
this app makes conversation easy as it provides the translation of the
words in that country’s language. For example, If you want to
communicate with a Chinese person, the app will translate the words in
Chinese with the pronunciation.’’
Really here is high level of subject knowledge and mastery of the relevant terminology and writing conventions.
