Nissan Motors unveils Datsun GO small car in India at a competitive price of Rs 3,12,270.

 

Considering that the India's entry level car segment continues to remain vibrant in spite of downturn in the auto industry, the Datsun GO is all set to try and grab a share and will lock horns with Hyundai Eon and Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, which can expect tougher times ahead.

India Posts launches Post Office ATMs, scale upto 2800 ATMs by 2015.

The Department of Posts has undertaken an end to end ‘IT Modernization project 2012’ to
equip itself with requisite modern tools and technologies.

In order to IT enable Post Office
Savings Bank, Core Banking Solution (CBS) is being implemented across India covering all the post offices.

At present, 64 Post Offices have been migrated into the CBS environment in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka,
Maharashtra, Assam and Andhra Pradesh.

Infosys has provided the Core Banking Solution, Finacle, for the IT Modernisation Project of India Post.

NASA discovers 715 new planets

Our galactic neighborhood just got a lot bigger. NASA on Wednesday announced the discovery of 715 new planets, by far the biggest batch of planets ever unveiled at once.
