"Oppia" Google's new open source E-learning tool
Google has launched a new open source project titled Oppia that aims at creating eLearning content. Oppia allows users to create online interactive activities that Google calls explorations.
These activities or explorations can be built and contributed to by multiple people across the world and doesn’t require any programming.

India Posts launches Post Office ATMs, scale upto 2800 ATMs by 2015.
The Department of Posts has undertaken an end to end ‘IT Modernization project 2012’ to
equip itself with requisite modern tools and technologies.
In order to IT enable Post Office
Savings Bank, Core Banking Solution (CBS) is being implemented across India covering all the post offices.
At present, 64 Post Offices have been migrated into the CBS environment in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka,
Maharashtra, Assam and Andhra Pradesh.
Infosys has provided the Core Banking Solution, Finacle, for the IT Modernisation Project of India Post.

NASA discovers 715 new planets
Our galactic neighborhood just got a lot bigger. NASA on Wednesday announced the discovery of 715 new planets, by far the biggest batch of planets ever unveiled at once.
By way of comparison, about 1,000 planets total had been identified in our galaxy before Wednesday.
